Bubble Level – Leveler Tool (“the App”) is provided by CivilMicros (part of Codemicros).
Information processed by the App
The App processes:
- Accelerometer readings: Used in real time to calculate the device’s angle and display the bubble level. These readings are processed only on the device and are not stored or transmitted.
- Local preferences: Selected color, level tolerance, haptic and sound settings, and calibration offsets are stored locally on the device.
- Advertising and technical information: The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically process information such as the app name and version, device type, operating system, IP address, advertising or app-specific identifiers (where available and permitted), general location inferred from the IP address, ad impressions and interactions, and diagnostic information.
The App does not require an account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, contacts, photos, or precise location. Information processed by Google AdMob is governed by Google’s privacy terms and your consent and device settings.
Permissions and device features
The App uses:
- The device accelerometer to provide its core leveling functionality.
- Vibration and system sound to provide optional level-confirmation feedback.
- Internet and network access to request and display advertisements.
The App does not request access to location, camera, microphone, contacts, files, or notifications.
Google AdMob advertising and data sharing
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may collect, process, and share technical and advertising information to:
- Request, deliver, and personalize ads where permitted.
- Provide non-personalized or limited ads when appropriate.
- Measure ad impressions, clicks, and performance.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- Maintain and improve advertising services.
Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and applicable law. The App does not sell your personal information. Information is shared with Google and its advertising partners only as needed to provide and measure advertising and for the other purposes described above.
Learn more about how Google uses information from apps that use its services and review the Google Privacy Policy.
You can manage ad personalization through your device’s advertising settings and your Google My Ad Center settings. Where required, the App may ask for your consent before requesting personalized ads.
Data storage, retention, and deletion
Preferences and calibration values remain on the device until they are changed, reset, the App’s storage is cleared, or the App is uninstalled.
Depending on device settings, the operating system may include local preferences in a device or cloud backup. Such backups are controlled by the operating-system provider and its privacy terms.
Advertising information processed by Google or its advertising partners is retained and deleted according to their respective privacy policies. Clearing the App’s data or uninstalling it removes locally stored App preferences but may not delete information already processed by those third parties.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Security
The App minimizes privacy risk by processing sensor readings locally. We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Information processed by Google AdMob is protected under Google’s own security practices.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the App’s functionality or data practices change. Any revised policy will include an updated effective date.
